Got a head for numbers? Know how how to stretch a dollar? Come join other talented folks who help with the Wesley Finance ministry.

Committee Member
The Finance Committee builds an annual budget to support the mission and ministry of the church. The committee also develops and executes plans to raise income to support the budget as approved by the Administrative Council. Members implement instructions about allocation of funds from the Administrative Council and arrange for an annual audit of the church's records. Time required is one evening meeting per month with occasional time for special assignments.

Offering Counter
Two volunteers count money received on Sunday morning. Service time runs from the end of the first service through the end of the second service, one or more Sundays each month.

Financial Campaign
The Financial Campaign is a program designed to raise awareness of the church's budgetary plans for the coming year, and to encourage the congregation to pledge money to the church. Many levels of support are needed including planning and designing the campaign, preparing written materials, making oral announcements, stuffing envelopes, hosting campaign events and calling or visiting church members and friends of Wesley. The skills needed include motivational speaking, computer programming, typing, and organizational ability. Time needed for the yearly campaign varies by the nature of the task chosen.

Auditor
The auditor performs a yearly audit of the church financial records and reports the results. The time required is about six to eight hours a year.
