United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
There
are lots of reasons to go to UMYF—we have fun activities, go on mission
projects, and help out during events at Wesley. But above all, we participate
in UMYF because it helps strengthen our relationship with God. To us, being Methodist means having the freedom to worship God in the way that the Holy Spirit leads you, and in a way that makes you feel most comfortable.
We
want other teens and pre-teens to share the joy we feel when we're together
and we know we're doing God's work. Like when we built a roof on a family's
home during our mission trip to Brownsville, Texas, or helped families with
